    NEPSE Gains 2.31 Points as Turnover Stands at Rs. 3.93 Arba

    The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) edged up 2.31 points to close at 2,572.34, while daily turnover stood at Rs. 3.93 Arba.

    The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded a marginal gain of 2.31 points (0.09%) to close at 2,572.34 on Wednesday. The increase comes after the benchmark index declined by 6.38 points in the previous trading session. The index opened at 2,574.03 and fluctuated between an intraday high of 2,575.34 and a low of 2,566.34 before settling at 2,572.34. A total of 11,233,636 shares were traded across 354 companies through 43,812 transactions, generating a turnover of Rs. 3.93 Arba. The total market capitalization stood at Rs. 44.28 Kharba, while the float market capitalization was Rs. 15.02 Kharba. Ghalemdi Hydro Limited (GHL) topped the turnover chart with transactions worth Rs. 26.06 crore, closing at Rs. 286.00 per share. Meanwhile, Kutheli Bukhari Small Hydropower Limited (KBSH) led the gainers, rising 5.11% to close at Rs. 294.90. On the losing side, RBB Mutual Fund 2 (RMF2) recorded the highest decline, falling 8.07% to close at Rs. 9.00. Among sectoral indices, the Manufacturing and Processing Index posted the highest gain of 0.73%, while the Trading Index recorded the biggest decline, falling 0.48%.
