Citizens Mutual Fund 2 to Mature on Ashad 21
The seven-year closed-end mutual fund will cease trading after maturity, with investors set to receive payouts following the liquidation of its assets.
Citizens Mutual Fund 2 (CMF2), a seven-year closed-end mutual fund scheme with a fund size of Rs. 56 crore, is set to mature on Ashad 21, 2083. Managed by Citizens Capital Limited and sponsored by Citizens Bank International Limited, the fund has issued its delisting notice ahead of maturity. During its investment period, the scheme consistently distributed dividends to unit holders over the past six fiscal years. Following the completion of its maturity period, trading of CMF2 units will be suspended as the fund begins the process of liquidating its portfolio, including listed shares, debentures, and other investments. The proceeds from the sale of these assets will then be distributed proportionately among unit holders. According to the latest available data, the fund's Net Asset Value (NAV) stands at Rs. 10.17 per unit.
