    Nepal Rastra Bank Unveils Daily Forex Rates; US Dollar and Major Currencies Hold Strong

    Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has published the official foreign exchange rates for Tuesday. The central bank fixed the buying rate for the US Dollar at 𝓡𝓼. 151.24 and the selling rate at 𝓡𝓼. 151.84, while retail rates across commercial banks may vary based on market conditions.

    Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB), the central monetary authority of Nepal, has released the foreign exchange reference rates for Tuesday. According to the daily schedule, the purchasing rate for one US Dollar has been established at 𝓡𝓼. 151.24, with the selling price locked at 𝓡𝓼. 151.84. In the European and British currency segments, the British Pound Sterling leads in value with a buying rate of 𝓡𝓼. 203.02 and a selling rate of 𝓡𝓼. 203.82, closely followed by the Swiss Franc at 𝓡𝓼. 190.67 (buying) and 𝓡𝓼. 191.43 (selling). The European Euro is trading at a buying rate of 𝓡𝓼. 175.54 and a selling rate of 𝓡𝓼. 176.24. Meanwhile, the Canadian and Australian dollars maintain steady positions, trading well above the 𝓡𝓼. 100 threshold. The central bank reiterated that these published figures serve as reference benchmarks and are subject to intraday revisions based on global market volatility. NRB also noted that retail transaction rates executed by individual commercial banks might fluctuate slightly from the official reference values depending on their operational structures.
